Greek airline AEGEAN announced on Thursday that it will improve its service between Mykonos and the islands of Astypalaia in the Cyclades region of Greece. There are few islands on the Mediterranean coast of the Aegean Sea, as well as the proximity to neighbouring islands such as Crete, Cyprus and the island of Cremona. The island, which is part of the Dodecanese complex, is also connected by ferry to AstYPalaa, but there is no direct connection between the two islands, only a ferry from mainland Cyprus. MyKONos, the Cycladic island in Greece, has a population of about 1.5 million people and an area of about 3,000 square kilometers.

Amorgos became the first place where the Ionians passed on their way to Naxos at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, it has become one of their most popular destinations, often being visited only to visit Panigiri, but also to be part of their annual pilgrimage.
Unfortunately, Amorgos does not have an airport, but it is connected to the rest of the island by ferry and also with a small number of other ferry lines. The island can be reached by boat from all over Greece, mainland Greece and Cyprus.

Hiking in Amorgos is something very special and not to be missed if you want to do it in Greece, but it becomes less popular because of the distance from Athens and Piraeus. It is one of the easternmost Cyclades islands and is located in the middle of an archipelago with a total area of 1.5 million square kilometers. The easternmost island of this group is home to the largest and most popular tourist attractions, such as the Greek National Museum and the National Park. However, the island is not developed to be able to shop, especially compared to other islands in its group, such as the other smaller islands of Thessaloniki.
